International Missions Board

Deepen Discipleship is a six-month course that is designed to be done with a mentor or small group in the context of your local church. As you walk through the lessons, you’ll read and do activities designed to help you develop or deepen habits of obedience in your Christian life. You’ll also walk through the entire New Testament and learn to see your whole life in light of the gospel.

DCI

This discipleship course covers core topics like repenting, receiving the Holy Spirit, studying Scripture, worshipping, living by faith, becoming Christlike, exercising authority, and preparing for Christ’s return through 18 lessons aimed at establishing new believers in foundational spiritual practices and theology. With teachings on prayer, hearing God’s voice, holiness, and walking in love, it provides critical guidance for following Jesus day-to-day.

This course explores today’s importance of all the 5 Ephesians 4 ministries, Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. Drawing directly from Ephesians 4, unpacking the functioning of the church in unity and maturity with each person functioning according to the gifts of grace given to them.

Didasko

“Fruitful Practices” are activities and behaviours which multiple church planters have discovered are effective at producing the spiritual fruit of new believers, healthy discipleship communities and reproducing fellowships of believers.
This course is based on the realities of experience of hundreds of field workers, and on the foundation of scripture. Although the research was done among people working in Muslim societies, the principles are applicable to most pioneer church planting situations.

The aspect that needs training, more than any other, in cross-cultural workers, is attitude… But there is a particular perspective, a certain capacity, without which entering a new culture to bring the gospel is impossible. The requisite capacity is an ability to handle grey (anyone crossing cultures quickly learns that not everything is black and white and that categories from before cannot be used), an appreciation of diversity, an honouring of others: Global Humility.

The course explores the concept of revival, emphasizing its true meaning as an extraordinary work of the Holy Spirit, examining its historical, biblical, and doctrinal aspects, and highlighting the characteristics and lessons of revival in both Old and New Testaments, while underlining the importance of genuine repentance, faith, and a return to the Scriptures.

The major focus of this series is to help us to recognize those intended or possible benefits and respond well to the suffering we experience. In that way, the suffering will not be wasted. If we respond poorly then the enemy and the kingdom of darkness will achieve their purpose through it. God has good intentions for us in all the suffering He allows. If we respond appropriately, we will be blessed as we experience the good He intends for us. Let’s cooperate with His intentions for our own good and for the sake of the Kingdom and the King.
